ClimateTrade, a blockchain-based climate solutions provider, has acquired Vienna-based TeamClimate (ReGreen GmbH) to expand its consumer-facing product offering and international reach. The deal enables ClimateTrade to offer subscription-based carbon offsetting directly to individuals (in addition to companies) and strengthens its footprint in the German-speaking market while supporting its U.S. expansion.

Gibraltar Industries Acquires Assets of Thermo Energy Systems

Gibraltar Industries (Nasdaq: ROCK) acquired the assets of Canadian-based Thermo Energy Systems in an all-cash transaction to expand its commercial greenhouse and controlled-environment agriculture capabilities. Thermo is expected to contribute a run-rate of approximately $75 million of annual revenue and the deal strengthens Gibraltar's position in the biologically-grown organic food market.

Carrier Global Corporation Acquires Toshiba Carrier Corporation Stake from Toshiba

Carrier Global Corporation has completed the acquisition of substantially all of Toshiba Corporation's ownership stake in Toshiba Carrier Corporation (TCC) for approximately $900 million. TCC, a global provider of residential and light commercial HVAC solutions including VRF and heat pump products with roughly $2 billion in 2021 sales and about 6,600 employees, will join Carrier's newly created Global Comfort Solutions business unit headquartered in Tokyo.
