FLEETCOR Acquires Roger (AP Automation Platform)

FLEETCOR Technologies, Inc. acquired Roger (Roger.ai), a cloud-based accounts payable automation and B2B bill-pay platform, to extend its accounts payable solutions into the small- and medium-sized business (SMB) market. The acquisition gives FLEETCOR a modern AP automation platform with invoice capture, ML-driven data extraction, approvals, payment execution and accounting integrations (QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, Xero), enabling cross-sell into its global SMB client base.

FLEETCOR Acquires Associated Foreign Exchange (AFEX)

FLEETCOR Technologies, Inc. announced it will acquire Associated Foreign Exchange (AFEX), a global cross-border payments and FX risk management provider, to strengthen its corporate cross-border payments capabilities and complement its Cambridge Global Payments business. AFEX serves more than 35,000 customers and processes over $22 billion in annual volume; the deal was signed in September 2020 and expected to close in early 2021 subject to regulatory approvals.

Accel-KKR Acquires Accertify from American Express

Accel-KKR has completed the carveout acquisition of Accertify from American Express, making the fraud-prevention business an independent private company. Accertify will remain headquartered in Itasca, Illinois and will focus on accelerating growth and product innovation in fraud prevention, chargeback management, and payment gateway solutions with support from Accel-KKR.

FLEETCOR Acquires Levarti

FLEETCOR Technologies has acquired Levarti, an airline software platform provider whose MAX suite automates passenger disruption workflows including re-bookings, hotel accommodations, transfers and vouchers. FLEETCOR said the deal will complement its airline lodging business and help accelerate lodging sales to global airline clients.

Tipalti Acquires Approve.com

Tipalti, the San Mateo-based payables automation platform, acquired Tel Aviv-based procurement software provider Approve.com for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition combines Approve.com's cloud procurement and purchase-order capabilities with Tipalti's AP automation to offer an end-to-end finance-to-pay solution for mid-market companies.
