Accenture has completed the acquisition of XtremeEDA, an Ottawa-based silicon design services firm, adding roughly 40 engineers to bolster Accenture Cloud First's silicon and edge computing capabilities in North America. The acquisition brings IQT's more than 450 consultants and engineers into Accenture's infrastructure and capital projects practice to strengthen capabilities for electricity, water and telecom infrastructure, energy efficiency and net-zero program delivery in Italy and Europe.
