DHL Supply Chain Acquires IDS Fulfillment

DHL Supply Chain, a unit of Deutsche Post, has acquired Indiana-based IDS Fulfillment to expand its U.S. warehousing and fulfillment network for small and midsize e-commerce customers. The deal (terms undisclosed) brings roughly 1.3 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space across three states and was agreed before recent tariff changes.

Forward Air Acquires J&P Hall Express

Forward Air Corporation agreed to acquire the assets of J&P Hall Express, a privately held expedited transportation provider headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. The asset purchase (expected to close in May 2021) expands Forward Air's LTL pickup-and-delivery footprint in southern Georgia and northern Florida, adding approximately $15.8 million in annual revenue, ~70 trucks and about 110 employees.

AFS Logistics Acquires DTA Services Ltd.

H.I.G. Capital Acquires DX Group plc

H.I.G. Capital has completed a public-to-private acquisition of DX Group plc (formerly AIM-listed) for an aggregate consideration of £307 million. The acquisition gives H.I.G. control of the UK-based last-mile delivery and logistics provider DX, which operates across the United Kingdom and Ireland and will be supported to accelerate growth across its IDW, 2-Man, logistics and express parcels divisions.

DP World (DP World Logistics FZE) Acquires Imperial Logistics Limited

DP World, through DP World Logistics FZE, has completed its acquisition of 100% of Imperial Logistics Limited after satisfying all conditions precedent; the transaction became unconditional and was implemented on 14 March 2022 with Imperial to be delisted from the JSE. The deal expands DP World's logistics and market-access capabilities across Africa by combining DP World's port infrastructure and global network with Imperial's African footprint, end-to-end logistics services and customer base.
