HCI Equity Partners Acquires Express Packaging

HCI Equity Partners has acquired Express Packaging, a Newcomerstown, Ohio-based provider of outsourced contract packaging and contract manufacturing services for global consumer brands. Patriot Capital Group provided subordinated debt and an equity investment to support the transaction; Express operates three SQF Level 3 certified facilities in West Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Newcomerstown, OH.

Purpose Group Acquires Gerald Printing & Liberty Imaging

Atlanta-based holding company Purpose Group has acquired Gerald Printing (which operates under Gerald Printing & Liberty Imaging) of Bowling Green, Kentucky. The deal, signed May 15 after an LOI on February 28, transfers ownership from longtime owner Joe Davis as he transitions to a consulting/part-time role; Purpose Group plans to retain the existing team and leadership under new CEO John Mazeika.

H.I.G. Capital Makes Growth Investment in Circle Graphics Holdings, Inc.

Capital has completed a growth investment in Circle Graphics Holdings, Inc., a Denver-area producer of made-to-order wall décor and large-format digital graphics for billboard operators and business signage. H.I.G. said the investment will support scaling the company’s product offering and expand its sales, marketing and distribution capabilities as Circle Graphics pursues organic and inorganic growth; the company employs roughly 600 people across the United States.

Radial Equity Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Clark‑Reliance Corporation
