Omaha National Group Inc. has acquired Sutter Insurance Company, a California‑domiciled insurance carrier that will be renamed Omaha National Casualty Company. The deal gives Omaha National a California domestic carrier, expands its ability to write policies (now licensed in 37 states) and advances its strategy to operate as a national full‑stack workers' compensation carrier.
