Visionary Broadband Acquires Aristata Communications

Visionary Broadband, a regional broadband provider based in Gillette, Wyoming, has acquired Aristata Communications, a Colorado-based rural internet provider serving several mountain counties. The deal will provide Aristata with capital to upgrade aging infrastructure and expand fiber and tower upgrades while Visionary retains the Aristata brand and keeps existing employees.

Visionary Broadband Acquires MTWeb

Visionary Broadband has acquired Montana-based MTWeb to expand its footprint in Whitehall and nearby communities including Twin Bridges, Pipestone and Cardwell. The MTWeb owner Joel Andrews and two employees will join Visionary Broadband as the buyer rolls out expanded/faster internet services in the area; no financial terms were disclosed.

GTCR, Stephens and The Pritzker Organization Invest in Cable One's Clearwave Fiber Joint Venture

GTCR LLC, Stephens Capital Partners and The Pritzker Organization (along with certain members of management) have formed a joint venture investment in Clearwave Fiber LLC alongside Cable One. The investors will make substantial cash investments to accelerate Fiber-to-the-Premise (FTTP) expansion across Clearwave's footprint and near-adjacent markets while Cable One retains majority ownership and receives no cash proceeds.

GTCR Acquires Innovative Systems

GTCR is partnering with technology executive Scott Alcott, who joins as CEO, and plans to invest in the Company's OSS/BSS, payments and billing capabilities and pursue organic growth and M&A to expand the product suite.

GI Partners Acquires Rise Broadband

GI Partners has completed the acquisition of Rise Broadband, a leading fixed wireless and fiber-to-the-home broadband provider serving primarily rural communities across 16 states. GI Partners is committing new capital to accelerate Rise Broadband's rollout of fiber-to-the-home services and improve customer experience under the existing Rise management team.
