Spectra A&D Holdings, a portfolio company of Vance Street Capital, has acquired Oslo-based Galleon Embedded Computing AS in an add-on transaction to expand Spectra's C5ISR and embedded computing product portfolio for aerospace and defense customers. The acquisition broadens Spectra's proprietary offerings (servers, NAS, data recorders, board-level solutions) and extends the platform's international reach into Europe.

FDS (Calvert Street Portfolio Company) Completes Strategic Merger with Amplicare

Calvert Street-backed pharmacy software provider FDS completed a strategic merger with Amplicare effective August 31, 2020, combining Amplicare's Medicare plan comparison and decision-automation tools with FDS's New Era Pharmacy platform. The combined organization will remain based in Fort Worth, Texas, operate additional locations in New York City and Columbia, Maryland, and serve more than 15,500 pharmacies nationwide to expand capabilities and data-driven services for community pharmacies.

Fairbanks Morse Defense (Arcline) Acquires Vestdavit

Fairbanks Morse Defense, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired Vestdavit, a Bergen-based supplier of davits and advanced boat-handling systems, from its four owners for an undisclosed amount. The deal expands FMD's marine handling and OEM capabilities and adds Vestdavit's manufacturing site in Poland plus service centers in the Netherlands and Seattle to FMD's global footprint.
