TestEquity, an operating company of Distribution Solutions Group (DSG), acquired National Test Equipment for approximately $7.8 million to expand calibration, refurbishment, rental and leasing capabilities. The deal, funded from DSG's existing credit facility, is expected to add more than $9 million in annual sales and over $1.4 million of adjusted EBITDA, broadening TestEquity's technical services and rental offerings.

The businesses will continue to operate under distinct brands and the deal is positioned as an add-on to expand TDS's service footprint and capabilities in the Mid-Atlantic.

Thermal Technology Distribution Solutions (TTDS), a distribution platform established by Gryphon Investors, has acquired Thermal Devices, a Mt. Airy, Maryland-based value-added distributor of electric heaters, controls, thermocouples and related products. The deal expands TTDS's footprint into the Mid-Atlantic and adds heat trace and engineering capabilities; Rob Strayton will remain with the company and retain a significant equity stake. Terms were not disclosed.

NV5 Acquires Technical Design Services, Inc.

The deal (cash and stock) expands NV5's capabilities in data center, audiovisual, security, and telecommunications design, adds recurring revenue (approximately 80% of TDSi's revenue), and strengthens NV5's relationships in the aviation and government sectors.

Madison Dearborn Partners Acquires T2S Solutions

Funds affiliated with Madison Dearborn Partners have acquired T2S Solutions, a founder-owned provider of R&D, prototyping, engineering, integration, and technology products serving the U.S. Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, and other U.S. government agencies. The T2S founders will retain a significant minority stake and continue to lead the company as MDP provides capital and industry expertise to accelerate R&D, bring products to lead production, and expand mission-focused capabilities.

Curtiss-Wright Acquires Teletronics Technology Corporation for $233M

Curtiss-Wright Corporation has completed the acquisition of Teletronics Technology Corporation (TTC) for $233 million in cash. TTC, a Newtown, Pennsylvania–based designer and manufacturer of data acquisition and flight test instrumentation systems (approximately 225 employees), will operate within Curtiss-Wright's Defense segment to broaden its data acquisition product portfolio and expand geographic reach.
