Deutsche Post DHL Group Acquires Hillebrand from Cobepa

Deutsche Post DHL Group (DPDHL) has acquired J.F. Hillebrand Group AG from majority shareholder Cobepa and other shareholders in a bolt-on transaction, integrating Hillebrand into DHL Global Forwarding, Freight as "Hillebrand Gori - a DHL company." The deal, signed in August 2021 and closed March 22, 2022 following regulatory approval, was valued at an equity price of €1.5 billion; Hillebrand operates in over 90 countries with more than 2,700 employees and specializes in ocean freight forwarding for beverages and non-hazardous bulk liquids.

Schneider Electric Acquires EV Connect

Schneider Electric has acquired EV Connect, an El Segundo, California-based provider of an open EV charging platform, to accelerate its eMobility strategy and expand its digital energy offerings. EV Connect will operate as a distinct subsidiary led by CEO and founder Jordan Ramer, while Schneider aims to strengthen its presence in EV charging infrastructure and services.

Schneider Acquires deBoer Transportation

Schneider has acquired Wisconsin-based regional carrier deBoer Transportation and will integrate its drivers and equipment to bolster Schneider’s Dedicated and Power Only operations. As part of the deal Schneider assumed ownership of roughly 160 tractors and 660 trailers; deBoer’s Blenker facility and a Dallas-area maintenance shop were excluded from the sale.

Rivean Capital Acquires Majority Stake in Green Mobility Holding

Rivean Capital has acquired a majority stake in Green Mobility Holding (GMH), a Munich-based technology-driven e-bike leasing group, while DPE Deutsche Private Equity will retain a minority stake. GMH, which operates the Company Bike and mein-dienstrad.de platforms, has more than 200 employees in Germany and reported around €140 million in revenue; Rivean plans to support digitalization, international expansion across Europe, and potential further acquisitions.

DHL Supply Chain Acquires IDS Fulfillment

DHL Supply Chain, a unit of Deutsche Post, has acquired Indiana-based IDS Fulfillment to expand its U.S. warehousing and fulfillment network for small and midsize e-commerce customers. The deal (terms undisclosed) brings roughly 1.3 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space across three states and was agreed before recent tariff changes.
