Florida Food Products (FFP) has acquired T-Bev, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of tea extracts, natural and organic caffeine and botanical extracts, from Swander Pace Capital. The deal expands FFP's ingredient platform into nutraceutical and functional-beverage ingredients and strengthens its presence in value-added natural tea products.

The Calabretta family will retain an equity stake and Comax will continue operating its Melville, NY manufacturing facility and Marlton, NJ R&D site as part of FFP's Taste Division to expand FFP's clean-label flavor capabilities.
