Kestrel Group LLC and Maiden Holdings, Ltd. completed their previously announced combination to form a new publicly listed specialty program platform, Kestrel Group Ltd, which began trading on the Nasdaq under ticker "KG." The combined entity will operate a capital-light, fee-based insurance platform that leverages exclusive fronting/management contracts with four A.M. Best A- carriers and retains an option to acquire those insurer subsidiaries from AmTrust Financial Group.
