EQT-led Consortium Completes Acquisition of Keywords Studios

An investor group led by EQT, alongside CPP Investments and Temasek, has completed its previously announced acquisition of Keywords Studios. Keywords Studios' ordinary shares have ceased trading on AIM and the company has been delisted; the investors say the deal will support Keywords' growth, technology investment and value‑accretive acquisition strategy.

EQT Private Equity Acquires Minority Stake in United Talent Agency

EQT Private Equity (via its EQT X fund) agreed to acquire a minority stake in United Talent Agency (UTA), becoming the largest outside shareholder while UTA's partnership and leadership retain control. Investcorp will sell its full minority stake and EQT will also purchase portions of existing stakes from continuing shareholders including PSP Investments; the investment will support UTA's growth, innovation and international expansion.

EQT AB Acquires Exeter Property Group to Create EQT Exeter

EQT AB completed the $1.87 billion combination with Exeter Property Group, acquiring Exeter's management company and carried interest stakes and combining the businesses under the EQT Exeter brand. Consideration comprised approximately $800 million in newly issued EQT AB shares and $1,070 million in cash (including refinancing of existing Exeter debt); Exeter management received a mix of shares and cash and will join EQT leadership. The deal expands EQT's real estate capabilities and geographic footprint across North America and Europe.

EQT Private Equity Acquires Majority Stake in AMCS

EQT Private Equity (investing from EQT X and EQT Future) will acquire a majority stake in AMCS, a Ireland-headquartered provider of cloud-based, AI-enabled planning, performance, safety and sustainability software for waste management, recycling and other resource-intensive industries. Existing investors including Insight Partners, Clearlake Capital, Highland Europe and the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund are expected to retain minority stakes; the deal is subject to customary conditions and is expected to close before Q1 2025.
