(now Innovative Decisions International) to add decision and risk analysis, operations research and systems engineering capabilities. Capstone Strategic advised ITA on the transaction to help integrate IDI's people and complementary capabilities into ITA's service offerings for government and commercial customers.

Calian Group Acquires Allphase Clinical Research and Alio Health Services

Calian Group Ltd. announced the acquisition of Ottawa-based Allphase Clinical Research Services Inc. and Alio Health Services Inc., bringing clinical trial management, patient support program capabilities and a proprietary home-care scheduling software into Calian’s Health segment. The deal consideration included $12.0 million in cash, 62,054 common shares and up to $12.0 million of earnouts tied to future EBITDA, with Calian planning to integrate the HOMETM application across its health services to drive new business and efficiencies.

Calian Group Acquires Mabway to Expand Military Training and Simulation Capabilities

Calian Group Ltd. has completed the acquisition of U.K.-based Mabway for up to CAD$41 million (approximately GBP£24 million), with CAD$32.4M paid on closing. The deal expands Calian’s military training and simulation offerings and strengthens its presence in the U.K. and Europe by integrating Mabway’s large-scale defence role‑playing environments and technical engineering education capabilities.

Deloitte Canada has acquired Groundswell Group Inc., a Calgary-based AI and data integration firm, to strengthen its AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, and cloud data engineering capabilities in Western Canada. Groundswell’s ~133 employees and several senior leaders will join Deloitte’s Consulting practice as part of Omnia AI to expand Deloitte’s AI and data transformation offerings.
