Solaris Assets, LLC (an acquisition vehicle formed by an ad hoc group of DIP financing lenders and affiliates and entities controlled by GoodFinch Management, LLC) completed the purchase of substantially all assets and business operations of Sunnova Energy International Inc. in a court‑supervised Chapter 11 sale. The deal was structured as a credit bid plus $25 million in cash and certain cure payments, and Sunnova’s core operations will transition to SunStrong Management, LLC as the asset manager to ensure continuity of residential solar servicing, O&M, and portfolio management.

Pineapple Energy Acquires SUNation Energy

Pineapple Energy Inc. acquired SUNation Energy, a Long Island-based solar and battery storage installer, in a transaction that closed on November 9, 2022. The deal expands Pineapple's footprint into the northeastern United States, adding SUNation's ~19-year regional business, ~12,000 serviced PV systems and ~$48 million of trailing twelve-month revenue to Pineapple's nationwide solar and storage platform.

NovaSource Power Services Acquires SunSystem Technology

Enphase Energy Acquires SolarLeadFactory LLC

ADT Acquires Sunpro Solar

ADT Inc. completed its acquisition of Sunpro Solar from a group of private equity investors (led by Compass Group Equity Partners and including TGP, MGG and Millstone) for $160 million in cash plus approximately 77.8 million ADT shares ( ~ $825 million implied value). Sunpro — a rooftop solar installer with ~3,600 employees operating 56 locations in 22 states — will be rebranded as ADT Solar, with founder Marc Jones and the Sunpro management team leading the new business to expand ADT's smart-home and energy offerings.

iSun Acquires SunCommon

iSun, Inc. completed the acquisition of SunCommon, adding a leading residential, community and commercial solar installer to its business for approximately $25.5 million in cash plus 1,810,915 shares of iSun common stock, with additional working capital and employee distributions. The deal positions the combined company as a regional full-service solar installation leader across residential, commercial, industrial and utility-scale markets and supports iSun's East Coast residential expansion strategy.
