Doeren Mayhew has acquired Houston-based TBK CPA, PLLC, with the transaction effective Nov. 17, 2025. The acquisition adds nearly 35 employees and brings TBK partners into Doeren Mayhew's leadership team, strengthening Doeren Mayhew's Houston footprint and expanding its tax advisory capabilities.

Katz Sapper & Miller Acquires Shanholt Glassman Klein Kramer & Co.

Indianapolis-based Katz Sapper & Miller (KSM) has acquired New York City-based accounting firm Shanholt Glassman Klein Kramer & Co. (SGKK), adding 59 employees and six partners and increasing KSM's New York headcount to 87. The deal, which closed Thursday, expands KSM's New York footprint and makes that office its second-largest; financial terms were not disclosed.

Permira and Hg take co-controlling stakes in GGW Group

Permira announced in December 2023 that a Permira-backed vehicle agreed to acquire GGW Group, the Hamburg-based insurance brokerage and MGA platform. In April 2024 Hg completed a new investment from its Hg Saturn fund and will own a co-controlling stake alongside Permira; GGW operates more than 60 brokerages and MGAs and employs over 1,700 people as it scales across Germany and Europe.

SSC CPAs + Advisors Acquires Harrison Henderson PLLC

SSC CPAs + Advisors, a 100% employee-owned CPA and wealth management firm based in Overland Park, Kansas, has merged with Harrison Henderson PLLC, an Oklahoma-based accounting firm with offices in Tulsa, Norman, and Perry. The combined firm will operate under the SSC CPAs + Advisors name and terms were not disclosed. The transaction expands SSC's geographic footprint into Oklahoma and transitions Harrison Henderson to employee ownership.

G&A Partners Acquires GrowthForce

The combined team will operate under the GrowthForce brand as a G&A Partners company, aiming to create an enhanced financial operations platform and expand outsourced bookkeeping, accounting, and controller services.

Citrin Cooperman Acquires HW&Co.
