Spartan Delta Corp. Acquires Velvet Energy Ltd.

Spartan Delta Corp. closed the previously announced acquisition of Velvet Energy Ltd., a privately held light-oil Montney producer in northwest Alberta, for approximately CAD 751.5 million in cash, shares and assumed net debt. The deal (funded via equity financing, a new five-year term facility and revolver capacity) adds ~20,600 boe/d of production and large Montney acreage, positioning Spartan as a leading Montney oil producer and acreage holder.
