Reveal Acquires Onna Technologies

Reveal, a Chicago-based provider of AI-powered eDiscovery and investigations software, has acquired Onna Technologies, a New York–based company that provides data-collection and management connectors for cloud collaboration platforms. The acquisition expands Reveal’s platform by integrating Onna’s unstructured-data collection, analysis and connector capabilities to improve defensible collection and streamline review-to-insight workflows for enterprise legal teams.

Reveal Data Corporation has acquired NexLP, an AI-driven eDiscovery software provider, and will integrate NexLP's Story Engine AI and data science team into Reveal's review platform. Jay Leib, NexLP co-founder and CEO, joins Reveal as EVP of Innovation & Strategy; terms were not disclosed and Reveal — which is majority-owned by Gallant Capital Partners — worked with Houlihan Lokey and Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth on the transaction.

K1 Investment Management Acquires Reveal; Reveal Merges with Brainspace

The acquisition brings DFL's IDENTIFI identity and biometrics capture suite into Reveal's offering; DFL CEO Isaac Riddle will lead Reveal's Identity and Biometrics Business Unit to deliver products to U.S. DoD, foreign militaries, and public safety customers.
