GS Foods Group Acquires Diamond Foods

The acquisition expands GS Foods' Louisiana footprint and strengthens its K-12 product and service offerings in the region as part of its ongoing platform build-out.

Highview Capital acquired Gold Star Foods from Castle Harlan and will merge it with Highview portfolio company Good Source Solutions to form a new holding company, GS Foods Group. Alvarez & Marsal Capital Partners participated as a direct investor in the combined business; the combined company will create a national specialized foodservice distribution platform focused on K-12, corrections and other non-commercial segments.
