ProProfs Acquires Qualaroo

ProProfs, a provider of SaaS customer support and training tools, has acquired Qualaroo, a survey and in-context user feedback software provider. The deal (announced Feb 29, 2020) brings Qualaroo's Nudge survey technology and customer base (used by sites such as LinkedIn, Zillow, eBay and TripAdvisor) into the ProProfs product suite; Qualaroo was most recently run by Scaleworks.

Rockbridge Growth Equity, a Detroit-based private equity firm, has acquired ProSites, Inc., a provider of online marketing solutions for dental, medical, financial and accounting practices, from The Riverside Company. ProSites serves more than 14,000 clients with website design/hosting, reputation management, SEO, PPC and practice communication software; Rockbridge plans to accelerate growth, expand services and pursue add-on acquisitions.

QuestionPro Acquires Assets of doopoll

QuestionPro has acquired the assets of Cardiff-based real-time engagement platform doopoll and will integrate doopoll's features and customers into its research and experience management platform. The deal expands QuestionPro's presence in the United Kingdom (particularly Wales) and brings new real-time, multilingual polling capabilities to its suite of survey and CX products.

Clarivate Acquires ProQuest

Clarivate plc announced a definitive agreement on May 17, 2021 and completed the acquisition of ProQuest on Dec. 1, 2021. Clarivate paid $5.3 billion including refinancing of ProQuest debt (approximately $4.0 billion cash and $1.3 billion equity) to acquire the global software, content, data and analytics provider from Cambridge Information Group and other investors including Atairos to expand its research intelligence capabilities.

The acquisition will combine PSG's safety-survey capabilities with QuestionPro's analytics to expand its healthcare-focused offerings and provide interoperable patient-safety insights to health systems and IDNs.
