Target RWE Acquires NoviSci Inc.

Target RWE, a Durham-based real-world evidence solutions company, has acquired NoviSci, Inc., a software analytics and services firm that applies epidemiologic methods and causal inference to health data. Amgen Inc. also made a strategic investment in the combined company, joining existing investors Norwest Venture Partners and 22C Capital to support growth; financial terms were not disclosed.

Reveleer Acquires Curation Health

Datavant Acquires Aetion

Thermo Fisher Scientific Acquires CorEvitas from Audax Private Equity

Thermo Fisher Scientific agreed to acquire CorEvitas, a Waltham, Massachusetts–based real-world evidence (RWE) and clinical registries provider, from Audax Private Equity for $912.5 million in cash. The acquisition, completed August 14, 2023, will fold CorEvitas (approximately 300 employees; expected 2023 revenue ~$110M) into Thermo Fisher’s Laboratory Products and Biopharma Services segment to expand its RWE and life‑sciences data capabilities.

The deal brings Medimix's LiveTracker cloud platform and access to a panel of ~2.2 million clinicians into Evidera's offerings to better support pharmaceutical, diagnostic and medical device clients.
