GrowGeneration Corp. Acquires HGS Hydro

GrowGeneration Corp. signed an asset purchase agreement to acquire HGS Hydro, the third-largest chain of hydroponic garden centers in the U.S., adding six existing Michigan stores (with a seventh opening soon). The acquisition will increase GrowGeneration's Michigan footprint and bring its total store count to 65, and is expected to close before GrowGeneration's fiscal year-end 2021.

OneOncology Acquires United Urology Group from Audax Private Equity

OneOncology has agreed to acquire United Urology Group (UUG) from Audax Private Equity, with the deal expected to close by the end of 2024; terms were not disclosed. UUG is a national urology management services organization supporting ~250 physicians and ~1,300+ employees across multiple states, and OneOncology plans to integrate UUG's urology capabilities and ancillary services into its physician-led oncology platform.

The transaction completes a management buyout that transitions ASG from AUA’s ownership to management-led ownership while positioning the company for continued growth serving independent grocery retailers in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

ASDA Acquires EG Group's UK & Ireland Business

B&G Foods Acquires Frozen Vegetable Manufacturing Operations of Growers Express

B&G Foods, Inc. acquired the frozen vegetable manufacturing operations of Growers Express, LLC, including inventory, equipment, a sublease for part of a Yuma, Arizona manufacturing facility and a lease for a warehouse in San Luis, Arizona. Approximately 155 employees will transfer to B&G Foods; the company also repurchased the master license agreement for certain Green Giant Fresh products. The transaction was funded with cash on hand and borrowings under B&G's existing credit facility; terms were not disclosed.

GrowGeneration Acquires Grow Warehouse

GrowGeneration Corp. acquired Grow Warehouse, a four-store hydroponic and organic garden center chain operating in Colorado and Oklahoma. The deal adds roughly 35,000 square feet, a team of 50+ cultivation professionals and about $20 million in annual revenue, bringing GrowGeneration's store count to 46 and expanding its Colorado and Oklahoma footprint.
