AIT Worldwide Logistics Acquires Global Transport Solutions Group

AIT Worldwide Logistics has acquired Global Transport Solutions Group (GTS), a Netherlands-headquartered specialist in time-critical marine spare parts logistics. The deal brings GTS’ more than 600 teammates across 16 locations and nine consolidation hubs into AIT’s global network, adding marine spare-parts capabilities, warehouse capacity and new geographic presence in Greece, Japan and the Nordics; terms were not disclosed.

Aterian Investment Partners, through its portfolio company Xpress Global Systems (XGS), has acquired SSBB Inc. and affiliates (doing business as Michigan Carpet / Delta Distribution), a specialized flooring less‑than‑truckload company headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The add‑on acquisition expands XGS's Midwest footprint and increases capacity across Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio and Pennsylvania as XGS continues to scale its floorcovering logistics platform.

TJC, L.P. (The Jordan Company) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Global Transport Solutions Topholding B.V. (GTS), an international maritime-focused logistics and forwarding provider operating under the Marinetrans and Best Global Logistics brands. The investment will provide GTS with resources to support geographic expansion, strengthen its network and capabilities, and accelerate growth across time-critical maritime supply chain markets.

Link Reservations, Inc. (OTC PINK: LRSV) completed the acquisition of Global Enterprises & Logistics, Inc. via a Share Exchange Agreement dated March 3, 2023, making Global a wholly owned subsidiary. Global is a South Florida-based refrigerated freight forwarder and logistics provider serving wholesale, retail and hospitality customers with over 70 employees and a fleet of refrigerated tractor-trailers; Link said the acquisition supports diversification and its plans to become a reporting company and up-list.

LBMX Acquires Buying Group Services (BGS)

LBMX Inc., a London, Ontario–based business marketplace platform provider, acquired Buying Group Services (BGS) in an all‑shares transaction effective January 1, 2022. The acquisition adds managed services capabilities to LBMX's existing EDI, PIM and eCommerce offerings, enabling expanded services (including central payments and PIM enrichment) for independent distributors, buying groups and suppliers across end markets such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building materials and food service equipment.

International Logistics Group (ILG) Acquires Global Freight Solutions (GFS) from Phoenix Equity Partners

International Logistics Group Ltd (ILG), part of the Yusen Logistics/NYK group, has acquired Global Freight Solutions (GFS) from Phoenix Equity Partners. The deal will allow GFS to accelerate development of its Enterprise Carrier Management (ECM) platform and leverage Yusen/ILG's fulfilment and global logistics capabilities to provide expanded end-to-end B2B and B2C supply chain support.
