Eurazeo to Acquire Eres Group Stake from IK Partners

Eurazeo has signed an agreement to acquire the stake in French fintech Eres Group from IK Partners' IK VIII Fund; financial terms were not disclosed and the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals. Eres, headquartered in Paris, is a leading provider of employee profit-sharing, retirement schemes and asset management with approximately €6.7 billion in assets under management and a distribution network of over 6,600 distributors.

Cairngorm-backed E-zec Medical Merges with ERS Medical to Create UK Non-Emergency Patient Transport Leader

Cairngorm Capital’s portfolio company E-zec Medical Transport Services has merged with ERS Transition Limited (trading as ERS Medical), creating the UK's largest specialist non-emergency patient transport provider. The enlarged group serves more than 50 commissioning bodies from 55 sites with approximately 2,500 specialist employees and 2022 combined revenues in excess of £100m; the deal strengthens geographic coverage and service capabilities while providing a platform for future growth.

Orano Projets Acquires Majority Stake in CERIS Group

Orano Projets, the engineering arm of the Orano group, has acquired a majority stake in CERIS Group, a French engineering and consulting firm serving healthcare, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology clients. The deal adds CERIS’s expertise and local presence (notably in Nantes and Lyon) to Orano Projets’ capabilities, enabling expansion of service offerings and capacity to deliver large-scale design, construction and turnkey projects.

Garda Group Acquires Heras from Equistone Partners Europe

Garda Group has reached a conditional agreement to acquire Heras from Equistone Partners Europe. Heras, headquartered in Oirschot, Netherlands, is an end-to-end supplier of permanent and mobile perimeter protection solutions with around 1,000 employees and operations across Europe; the acquisition expands Garda Group's footprint into the UK, Benelux and France. The transaction is subject to works council consultation and regulatory clearances.

Descartes Systems Group Acquires OCR Services for About $90 Million

Descartes Systems Group has acquired Rockville, Maryland–based OCR Services, a provider of global trade compliance solutions and content, for approximately $90 million in cash. The acquisition adds OCR’s GlobalEASE platform and controlled export data to Descartes’ Global Trade Intelligence offerings, expanding content and capability to better serve multinational customers and partners.
