Vontobel has completed the acquisition of a significant minority stake in London-based infrastructure investment manager Ancala Partners LLP, marking Vontobel’s entry into private infrastructure markets and expanding its private markets capabilities. Ancala will remain independently managed by its leadership team and Vontobel may acquire further stakes over time; Ancala manages infrastructure assets across renewables, transport, utilities and the circular economy with ~EUR 4.1 billion AUM.
