Blackstone Energy Transition Partners Makes Majority Investment in Westwood Professional Services

Private equity funds affiliated with Blackstone (Blackstone Energy Transition Partners) have agreed to make a majority investment in Westwood Professional Services, Inc., acquiring the stake held by Endurance Partners and Palm Beach Capital while Westwood management and employee shareholders retain a minority interest. Westwood, a Plano, Texas–based engineering and design firm with more than 1,600 employees, serves renewables, power, real estate and public infrastructure end markets and will leverage Blackstone's resources to expand capabilities across those markets.

Victory Capital Acquires WestEnd Advisors

Victory Capital Holdings, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of WestEnd Advisors, LLC, a Charlotte-based asset manager that provides ETF-based model allocation strategies and separately managed accounts with approximately $18 billion in assets. The deal was announced November 4, 2021 (upfront consideration of $480 million plus deferred earnouts) and the acquisition closed on December 31, 2021.

Westshore Capital Partners Acquires Reliant Account Management with $30M Support from Capitala Group

Westshore Capital Partners has acquired Reliant Account Management, LLC, a Knoxville-based third-party payment processor and trust accounting company. Capitala Group provided $30.0 million of senior secured debt and equity to support Westshore’s acquisition, financing the transaction to enable the sponsor buyout and capability expansion into payment and trust accounting services for debt relief, legal and medical industries.

Sole Source Capital Acquires Westwood Laboratories

Sole Source Capital LLC, an industrial-focused private equity firm, has acquired Westwood Laboratories, a full-service contract manufacturer headquartered in Azusa, California that serves beauty, personal care, pet and over-the-counter drug brands. Five Points Capital provided unitranche debt and an equity co-invest to support the acquisition; terms were not disclosed.

Corient Acquires Palo Alto Wealth Advisors ($766.7M AUM)
