Voyager Interests, a Houston-based private equity firm focused on energy services, has acquired Knight Energy Services from Clearlake Capital Group. Knight, headquartered in Houston with 17 U.S. locations, provides rental tools and equipment for drilling, completions, production and decommissioning; financial terms were not disclosed.

Voyager Midstream Acquires East Texas Gas Gathering and Processing Assets From Phillips 66

Voyager Midstream Holdings, a Pearl Energy Investments portfolio company, acquired natural gas gathering and cryogenic processing assets from Phillips 66 located in East Texas and north Louisiana, including roughly 550 miles of pipelines, 400 MMcf/d processing capacity, and 12,000 bpd fractionation capacity. The deal also includes the Carthage Hub, a major gas trading and delivery hub with >1 Bcf/d handling capability, and is intended to expand Voyager's footprint in the Haynesville Shale and improve producer connectivity to Gulf Coast markets.

Platinum Equity Acquires Majority Interest in Kohler Energy from Kohler Co.

Platinum Equity has closed the transaction to acquire a majority interest in Kohler Energy from Kohler Co., establishing Kohler Energy as an independent, standalone business. Kohler Co. remains an investment partner, Brian Melka will serve as CEO and David Kohler will sit on the board; financial terms were not disclosed. Platinum Equity said it will invest in growth and operational initiatives to accelerate Kohler Energy's position in the global energy resilience market.

Blue Water Energy Acquires Pipeline Technique Limited

London-based private equity firm Blue Water Energy has acquired Pipeline Technique Limited (PTL), a Huntly, Scotland-headquartered provider of pipeline welding, field joint coating and spoolbase services, from Heerema Marine Contractors. Blue Water said it will invest capital to support PTL’s future growth and independence as a specialist pipeline welding and coating services provider to the energy industry.

H&E Equipment Services Acquires Precision Rentals

H&E Equipment Services signed a definitive agreement and subsequently completed the acquisition of Phoenix-based Precision Rentals, adding two branch locations (Phoenix and Aurora, Colorado) and a rental fleet with approximately $70 million of original equipment cost. The deal increases H&E's branch density in the Phoenix and Denver metropolitan areas and expands its footprint in attractive non-residential construction markets.

DNOW Acquires Trojan Rentals, LLC

DNOW Inc. completed its all-cash acquisition of Trojan Rentals, LLC, a provider of pump rentals, automation technology and layflat hose sales that support water sourcing, transfer, recycling and treatment. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Odessa, Texas with approximately 90 employees, Trojan expands DNOW's water management offerings and complements its U.S. Process Solutions and Flex Flow pump rental businesses.
