Kainos Capital Acquires Evriholder from The Edgewater Funds

Kainos Capital has acquired Evriholder (Evriholder Acquisition, Inc.), a designer, developer and distributor of household, kitchen and personal care products headquartered in Brea, California. The transaction represents The Edgewater Funds’ exit of its ownership stake in Evriholder following a partnership that began in 2018; Evriholder will operate as a consumer-products platform serving mass, specialty and e-commerce retailers across North America and internationally.

Apollo Funds to Acquire Majority Stake in Novolex

Funds managed by Apollo affiliates have entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Novolex from funds managed by Carlyle, with Carlyle retaining a minority interest. Novolex, a leading sustainable packaging manufacturer headquartered in Hartsville, South Carolina with more than 10,000 employees and 57 manufacturing facilities, will look to leverage Apollo's resources to expand customer relationships, sustainability initiatives and product innovation.

Globe Life Acquires Evry Health

Apollo Funds Acquire Univar Solutions (minority investment from ADIA)

Apollo Funds completed a take-private acquisition of Univar Solutions, acquiring all outstanding shares for $36.15 per share; a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) made a minority investment in the deal. Univar Solutions will continue to operate under its name with management remaining in place, and Apollo cited plans to accelerate growth, expand capabilities and pursue strategic initiatives across Univar's global chemical and ingredients distribution platform.

Oaktree-Led Consortium Acquires arrivia

Apollo Funds to Acquire Covis Pharma from Cerberus

Terms were not disclosed; the transaction is expected to close by the end of Q1 2020 and aims to accelerate Covis's global expansion and build out its respiratory and specialty pharma franchises.
