Monomoy Capital Partners Acquires Artesian Spas and Marquis Hot Tubs

Monomoy Capital Partners has acquired Artesian Spas and Marquis Hot Tubs and combined them under a new parent holding company to form a multi-branded pool and spa wellness platform. The combined business will continue to operate the Artesian and Marquis brands, leverage a broader product portfolio and dealer network, and pursue additional acquisitions in the outdoor living and residential wellness market.

Marcone (Genstar Capital) Acquires Great Plains/Pool & Spa Products

Marcone, a Genstar Capital portfolio company and leading North American distributor of appliance, HVAC and plumbing parts, has acquired Great Plains/Pool & Spa Products, a family-owned regional pool and spa equipment and parts distributor with operations in Kansas City and Houston. The acquisition represents Marcone's entry into the pool and spa distribution market and will be used to grow Marcone's national distribution footprint and pursue additional M&A in the space.

Azureon (O2 Investment Partners) Acquires Stake in Northern Pool & Spa

O2 Investment Partners, through its pool-care platform Azureon, has made an investment in and partnered with Northern Pool & Spa, a full-service pool maintenance and construction company based in Eliot, Maine. The deal — an add-on to Azureon's platform expansion across the Northeast — will keep Northern management with significant ownership while giving the business access to Azureon's operational support, resources and technology.

Monomoy Capital Partners Acquires Sportech, Inc.

Monomoy Capital Partners has acquired Sportech, Inc., a Minnesota-based designer and manufacturer of cab components and thermoformed plastic assemblies for powersports, golf & turf, industrial and agriculture OEMs. Sportech operates three facilities in Minnesota and employs about 325 people; Monomoy said it will partner with management to drive continued operational and financial improvement.

NDS Group AS (AURELIUS Portfolio) Acquires Hovdan Poly AS and Nordic Wash AS

NDS Group AS, an AURELIUS-backed automotive aftermarket platform, completed two add-on acquisitions of Hovdan Poly AS and Nordic Wash AS to broaden its spare-parts, marine- and workshop-equipment offering in Norway. The deal also coincides with NDS signing a long-term supplier agreement with Carfix AS, supporting the group's one-stop-shop strategy for workshops and carwash/workshop equipment customers.
