Berlin Packaging Acquires Andler Packaging Group

The family-owned Andler business — founded in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1893 — will retain all employees and locations as part of Berlin Packaging's North American expansion.

Stahl Acquires WEILBURGER Graphics

Stahl has acquired Germany-based WEILBURGER Graphics, a manufacturer of water-based and energy-cured coatings, inks and adhesives for the graphic arts and packaging markets. The deal strengthens Stahl's newly formed packaging coatings division and expands its product portfolio and European presence in growth end-markets such as food & beverage, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals; financial terms were not disclosed.

Silgan Holdings Acquires Easytech Closures S.p.A.

Silgan Holdings Inc. acquired Easytech Closures S.p.A., a Europe-based manufacturer of easy-open and sanitary metal ends, for a purchase price of €31.5 million. Easytech was projected to generate approximately €38 million in sales and €6.6 million in adjusted EBITDA in 2021; Silgan expects roughly €4.1 million of annual synergies and funded the acquisition with revolving loan borrowings under its senior secured credit facility.

Berlin Packaging Acquires United Bottles & Packaging
