Fortis Fire & Safety, a PE-backed national fire protection platform, has acquired Piper Fire Protection, a Clearwater, Florida-based fire protection services firm with two Tampa Bay area locations. The acquisition expands Fortis' Florida footprint and multi-regional capabilities; Piper's President and Owner Chris Johnson will join Fortis' leadership as a member of its Owners' Advisory Council.
