Meriplex, a Houston-based managed solutions provider, has acquired I.T. Works, a Houston and Texarkana-based managed service and security provider founded in 1996. The acquisition expands Meriplex’s security, managed services and cloud capabilities and brings I.T. Works’ customers and leadership (CEO John Powell joins Meriplex as SVP of Managed Services) into the Meriplex brand.
