Norway-based Compusoft Group has acquired Access Information Technologies (Access IT), the publisher of contractERP — an ERP solution built on Microsoft Business Central for the window & door and adjacent construction-material industries. The deal adds back-end ERP capabilities to Compusoft’s visual CPQ suite, expanding its end-to-end offering and strengthening its footprint in North America and adjacent industries like architectural opening distribution and building material supply.

Hg, TA Associates and GIC invest in The Access Group at £9.2 billion valuation

The Access Group has received a further strategic investment from existing shareholders Hg and TA Associates, with GIC joining as a new minority investor, valuing the company at an enterprise value of £9.2 billion. The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approvals, provides additional capital to support Access's international expansion, product development (notably its Access Workspace SaaS platform) and continued M&A activity.

The deal — an add-on for SCS and Sole Source's fifth for the platform since 2020 — will expand SCS' repair & maintenance capabilities and create cross-selling opportunities across its customer base; terms were not disclosed.

BuildTec Software Group Acquires Majority Stake in Acies A/S
