American Industrial Partners (AIP) has acquired Veolia North America's Sulfuric Acid Regeneration Business, which has been renamed Nexpera. The business, headquartered in Newark, Delaware, operates 13 facilities across the U.S., employs about 300 people, and provides sulfuric acid and potassium hydroxide regeneration, sulfur gas recovery, and sulfur-based products to refineries and other industrial end markets.

American Industrial Partners (AIP) has become the majority and controlling shareholder of Norway-based AquaShip AS and Intership AS and will merge the two companies into a single global aquaculture service vessel operator. Talweg Capital co-invested in the combined company; Alchemy sold its stake in Intership. The combined business will operate a fleet of 39 vessels with nearly 700 employees and serve salmon farmers across Norway, Scotland, Ireland, Chile, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Veolia (via its Veolia North America unit) announced the acquisition of three U.S. hazardous-waste companies—New England Disposal Technologies, New England MedWaste and Ingenium—alongside additional tuck-ins in Japan (Zeeklite Co. LTD) and Brazil (Alagoas Ambiental). The deals form part of a broader GreenUp strategy to add 530,000 tonnes of hazardous waste treatment capacity by 2030 (100,000 tonnes already in operation) and represent roughly €300 million of targeted acquisitions to expand regional coverage and technical capabilities.

Xpansiv has completed the acquisition of APX, a provider of registry infrastructure for energy and environmental markets, integrating APX’s registry capabilities into Xpansiv’s market infrastructure for carbon, RECs, water and other environmental commodities. (American Environmental), a Mobile, Alabama-based provider of tank maintenance, remediation and robotic tank cleaning. The add-on expands SES's footprint into Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana, adds technical tank-cleaning capabilities, and brings approximately 180 employees to SES's network of 44+ facilities.
