Verdantas, a Sterling Investment Partners–backed environmental and engineering consultancy, completed five add-on acquisitions—Horizons Engineering, Aqua Engineering, Advanced Earth Sciences (AES), Atlantic Resource Consultants (ARC), and Atlantic Environmental Consulting Services—to broaden its technical capabilities and geographic footprint across the U.S. The deals strengthen Verdantas' water, geotechnical, remediation, permitting, and surveying capabilities while adding new offices in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine and enhancing remediation resources in New Jersey.

The acquisition expands Verdantas' geographic footprint into Virginia and strengthens its environmental health & safety, permitting, stormwater, and sustainability capabilities as an add-on to the Verdantas platform.

Verdantas Acquires PACE Engineers, Inc.

Verdantas Acquires cbec eco engineering

Verdantas Acquires CT Consultants, Inc.

The deal expands Verdantas's water/wastewater, municipal, and transportation engineering capabilities across the Great Lakes region and surrounding states; EFCG advised Verdantas and AEC Advisors advised CT.

Sterling Investment Partners has acquired a majority stake in Verdantas, LLC from Round Table Capital Partners, with Verdantas management, employees, and RTC retaining significant equity. Based in Tampa, Florida, Verdantas is an integrated environmental science, engineering, and consulting firm that has grown rapidly through 18 acquisitions since 2020 and employs over 1,450 staff nationwide.
