Boston-based private equity firm Artemis Capital Partners has acquired Maury Microwave, an Ontario, California-based designer and manufacturer of RF calibration, measurement, and modeling solutions. Artemis intends to operate Maury as an independent platform to accelerate product development, expand capabilities, and drive growth across telecommunications, semiconductor, aerospace, and defense end markets.

Artemis Capital Partners Acquires Diamond Antenna and Microwave Corporation

Boston-based private equity firm Artemis Capital Partners has acquired Diamond Antenna and Microwave Corporation, a Littleton, Massachusetts developer and manufacturer of high-reliability RF rotary joints and rotating subsystems for aerospace, defense and space applications. Artemis says Diamond will continue to operate independently from its Littleton facilities and that the firm plans to invest in technical capabilities to deepen Diamond's offerings to prime integrators and government customers.

Maury Microwave to Acquire Wireless Telecom Group

Maury Microwave, backed by Artemis Capital Partners, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Wireless Telecom Group, Inc. (WTT), including its Boonton, Holzworth and Noisecom divisions, in a deal expected to close in Q3 2023 subject to shareholder approval and customary conditions. The acquisition expands Maury's RF test and measurement capabilities and access to end markets including aerospace, defense, satellite communications, semiconductors and emerging applications such as quantum and directed energy; WTT will continue to operate from its New Jersey headquarters under its current leadership.

Quantic Electronics (Arcline-backed) Acquires Microwave Dynamics

Quantic Electronics, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired Microwave Dynamics, a designer and manufacturer of high-precision microwave and millimeter-wave oscillators, amplifiers, converters and multipliers. The acquisition expands Quantic's oscillator and RF/microwave capabilities to serve aerospace, defense and industrial end markets.

Mercury Systems Acquires Atlanta Micro

Mercury Systems acquired Atlanta Micro, a Norcross, Georgia–based designer and manufacturer of high-performance RF modules and MMICs, to expand its RF and microwave component portfolio and deepen penetration in electronic warfare, radar and weapons markets. The all-cash purchase (subject to working capital and net debt adjustments) is expected to add approximately $16 million in trailing revenue and be immediately accretive to adjusted EPS.

Arcline Forms Quantic and Acquires TRM Microwave

TRM Microwave is a designer and manufacturer of custom RF and microwave components and subsystems serving military, space and commercial markets; the deal is an add-on to build out Quantic's mission-critical electronics capabilities.
