Casey's General Stores (Nasdaq: CASY) completed the acquisition of Fikes Wholesale, owner of CEFCO Convenience Stores, on November 1, 2024. The deal adds roughly 198 CEFCO locations (148 in Texas and 50 in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi), expanding Casey's store footprint to about 2,900 locations and advancing its geographic growth strategy.

The seller was Brent Bostick of Bostick and Associates; financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction expands Monfort's multi-state convenience-store footprint.

MacEwen Petroleum Acquires Quickie Convenience Stores

MacEwen Petroleum Inc. acquired the business assets of Quickie Convenience Stores Corporation, adding 51 convenience stores (including 22 gas stations) in Eastern Ontario and Gatineau, Quebec to its network. The Quickie chain was sold by long-time co-owners Arnold Kimmel and Larry Hartman; MacEwen said it will invest in modernizing the stores and expanding the Quickie brand across its footprint.
