Integrated Power Services Acquires Wind Solutions LLC

Integrated Power Services (IPS) has acquired Wind Solutions LLC, a Sanford, North Carolina-based specialist in repair upgrades, accessory components, and patent-protected yaw system components for utility-scale wind turbines. The acquisition expands IPS’s renewables capabilities by adding in-house design, engineering, manufacturing and IP to support owner-operators and utilities across North America.

IPS Group Acquires Populus Technologies

IPS Group, a San Diego-based provider of smart parking and curb management technologies, has acquired Populus Technologies, a San Francisco-based provider of mobility data, curb management and parking payments software. The acquisition will integrate Populus' mobility and curb-data platform with IPS's parking, payment and enforcement systems to expand IPS's smart mobility capabilities for municipalities, universities, transportation agencies and private operators.

Searchlight Capital Acquires Majority Stake in Integrated Power Services

Funds advised by Searchlight Capital Partners agreed to acquire a majority stake in Integrated Power Services (IPS) from funds advised by Odyssey Investment Partners. IPS, headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, is an industrial aftermarket services provider for motors, generators, pumps and power systems across industrial and renewable energy end-markets; the deal is expected to close later this year subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Windjammer Capital Acquires Paragon Energy Solutions

Centerbridge Partners Acquires IPS Corporation from Cypress Performance Group

Centerbridge Partners, through funds it advises, agreed to acquire IPS Corporation from Cypress Performance Group; the transaction closed in October 2021. IPS, a Compton, California–based manufacturer of solvent cements, plumbing and roofing products and structural adhesives (brands include Weld‑On, Christy's, Water‑Tite and Scigrip), will continue to be led by George Moore (Executive Chairman) and Dan St. Martin (CEO), with several Cypress shareholders remaining as investors alongside Centerbridge.

Fortress Investment Group Acquires Infra Pipe Solutions

Funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group have acquired a majority stake in Infra Pipe Solutions (IPS), a North American manufacturer of HDPE pipes and structures. Wynnchurch Capital exited the company; IPS management retained a minority stake and Fortress plans to invest to expand capacity and capture strong infrastructure demand across water, telecom and mining markets.
