Onex Partners V Acquires Tes Global from Providence Equity Partners

Onex Corporation, through its Onex Partners V fund, has agreed to acquire Tes Global from Providence Equity Partners; Tes management will reinvest alongside Onex. Tes is a London-based education technology provider powering school and teacher products (staff management, safeguarding & compliance, pupil & learning management) and employs over 500 people across multiple offices worldwide. The deal is expected to close in Q1 2022 and financial terms were not disclosed.

Onex Partners Acquires Farsound Aviation Limited

Onex Corporation's Onex Partners Opportunities Fund has agreed to acquire Farsound Aviation Limited from AGIC Capital for an undisclosed amount. Farsound is a Brentwood, England–based supply chain and distribution specialist serving the aerospace engine MRO market, and the transaction is being completed in partnership with Farsound's management team led by CEO Chris Knott.

Onex Partners V Makes Majority Investment in Newport Healthcare

Onex Partners V, the private equity investment arm of Onex, has agreed to acquire a majority stake (approximately 60%) in Newport Healthcare, a U.S. provider of evidence-based residential and outpatient treatment programs for teens and young adults with mental-health issues. The investment, completed in July 2021 after announcing the agreement in June 2021, will partner with Newport's management to expand access to the company's behavioral-health services nationwide; terms were not disclosed.
