BRP Group, Inc., through its BKS-Partners operating group (Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners, LLC), acquired substantially all assets of Insurance Risk Partners, LLC, an Oklahoma City-based provider of property & casualty insurance and risk consulting. The acquisition (announced April 1, 2020) brings IRP's ~$7.0 million in annual revenues and expands BRP/BKS's large-account and technical insurance capabilities in the energy, infrastructure and power sectors.

BRP Group (BKS-Partners) Acquires Lanier Upshaw, Inc.

BRP Group, through its subsidiary Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners (BKS-Partners), agreed to acquire substantially all assets of Lanier Upshaw, an independent insurance agency based in Lakeland and Tampa, Florida. The transaction (expected to close Jan 1, 2020) will fold Lanier Upshaw into BRP's Middle Market Operating Group to expand its Central Florida market presence and broaden client capabilities in healthcare, higher education, construction and nonprofit segments.

BRP Group Acquires Construction Risk Partners

BRP Group, via its subsidiary Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners (BKS Partners), has entered into an agreement to acquire all outstanding equity interests of Construction Risk Partners (CRP), a specialty construction insurance brokerage headquartered in Branchburg, New Jersey. The deal adds about $32.6 million of annual revenue and roughly 85 employees, strengthening BRP's national construction risk management platform and expanding its construction-focused capabilities and market presence.

Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners (BKS-Partners), the middle-market operating subsidiary of BRP Group, acquired substantially all assets of Tennessee-based Trinity Benefit Advisors, Inc. and Russ Blakely & Associates, LLC. The acquisitions expand BRP/BKS-Partners’ employee benefits and insurance distribution capabilities in the Southeastern United States and add a book of business that generated approximately $17.3 million in annual revenue.

Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners (BKS-Partners), the middle-market subsidiary of BRP Group, has acquired substantially all assets of Rosenthal Bros., Inc., a Chicago-based provider of property & casualty insurance, employee benefits and private client solutions. Rosenthal Brothers generated approximately $18.8 million in annual revenue and employs about 55 people across two offices; the firm will be rebranded under the BKS-Partners banner to expand BRP's P&C and real-estate-focused capabilities in the Chicago market.

BRP Group Acquires Insgroup, Inc.

BRP Group, through its middle‑market subsidiary BKS Partners, agreed to acquire all outstanding equity of Insgroup, Inc., a Houston‑based commercial P&C and employee benefits brokerage with approximately $38.51 million of annualized revenues and ~160 employees. The deal expands BRP Group's middle‑market presence in Texas (notably Houston) and brings Insgroup's leadership team, including CEO Brian Kapiloff, into BRP's regional management structure.
