Garmin Ltd. has acquired Lumishore, a Swansea-based designer and manufacturer of high-performance above- and underwater LED lighting systems for boats. The acquisition adds premium marine LED lighting to Garmin's marine product portfolio and integrates Lumishore's R&D and production associates into Garmin's global workforce; financial terms were not disclosed.

Brunswick Corporation Acquires Navico for $1.05 Billion

Brunswick Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Navico, a Norway-based leader in marine electronics and sensors, for $1.05 billion. The deal adds the Lowrance, Simrad, B&G and C-MAP brands to Brunswick's Advanced Systems Group, strengthening its parts & accessories and marine-technology capabilities and accelerating Brunswick's ACES strategy.

Royal Philips Acquires Vesper Medical from Gilde Healthcare

Royal Philips has signed an agreement to acquire Vesper Medical Inc., a US-based maker of minimally-invasive peripheral venous stent devices and a portfolio company of Gilde Healthcare. The acquisition will add Vesper's DUO Venous Stent System to Philips' image-guided therapy and peripheral vascular portfolio; the deal is expected to close in Q1 2022 and includes roughly 20 Vesper employees joining Philips.

The acquisition gives Vision Marine direct retail and service distribution for its E-Motion high-voltage electric propulsion systems and expands the company's direct-to-consumer sales, installation, and aftermarket service capabilities.
