Road Safety Services (RSS), a platform investment of Parallel49 Equity, completed three add-on acquisitions: Pavement Marking, Inc. (Phoenix, AZ), Mullen's Markings, Inc. (Culpeper, VA) and K&G Striping (Kansas City, MO). The deals expand RSS’s geographic footprint to eleven U.S. states and add traffic control, signage and specialized pavement-marking capabilities to its platform.

Headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, Road Safety Services provides pavement marking and road-safety services across 15 states from nine facilities; the company's management team, led by CEO Mike Johnson, will remain significant owners and continue to lead the business. Transaction terms were not disclosed.

RoadSafe Traffic Systems Acquires Highway Supply, LLC

Investcorp and Trilantic North America agreed to acquire RoadSafe Traffic Systems from ORIX Capital Partners; terms were not disclosed. RoadSafe, headquartered in Chicago, IL, is the U.S.'s largest provider of traffic control and pavement marking services with more than 50 locations and over 1,600 employees; management, led by CEO Dave Meirick, will remain in place and the new owners plan to pursue geographic expansion and strategic add-on acquisitions.
