Acclaim Technical Services (ATS) has acquired Global Consulting Services, Inc. (GCS), a Rockville, Maryland-based software and systems engineering firm with about 30 employees. The acquisition expands ATS’s mission-technology capabilities—particularly in software development, systems engineering, cloud innovation, configuration/requirements management, and cybersecurity—to better serve Intelligence Community, defense, and law enforcement customers.

NV5 Acquires Global Realty Services Group

NV5 Global, Inc. acquired Global Realty Services Group LLC (GRS) in an all-cash transaction to expand NV5's real estate transaction services and bolster its market position in real estate due diligence. The acquisition adds GRS's property condition, environmental assessment, and zoning capabilities and approximately 154 full-time equivalent personnel, and is expected to be immediately accretive to NV5's earnings.

Global Risk Consultants (TÜV SÜD) Acquires Aon U.S. Field Services

Global Risk Consultants Corp. (GRC), a TÜV SÜD company, has acquired the U.S. Field Services business of Aon’s Property Risk Control Practice. The deal transfers a 20-person team of U.S.-based engineers to GRC, expanding its property risk engineering capacity and strengthening service delivery for insurers and corporate clients.

GTCR Acquires AssuredPartners from Apax VIII (Apax IX Co-Invests)

GTCR has agreed to acquire the entire stake in AssuredPartners from Apax VIII in a transaction led by a GTCR-led investor group, with Apax IX co-investing and AssuredPartners' management retaining a significant minority stake. The deal, which reflects a PE-to-PE ownership transition to support continued roll-up and organic growth of the insurance brokerage platform, is expected to close in Q2 2019; terms were not disclosed.

Constellation Affiliated Partners Acquires Trinity Transportation Services and Global Claims Service

Constellation Affiliated Partners acquired managing general agent Trinity Transportation Services and third-party administrator Global Claims Service to expand its transportation insurance platform and claims capacity. The deals integrate Trinity's towing and recovery insurance programs and Global's claims capabilities into Constellation's MGA platform, which is backed by RedBird Capital Partners.
