BTS Group AB has agreed to acquire Bates Communications Inc., a Boston-based executive coaching and corporate communications firm, to strengthen BTS's executive and team development offerings and establish a stronger presence in the US Northeast. Bates reported revenues above $7 million in 2020 and about 23 employees; the deal includes cash consideration, newly issued BTS shares and contingent earnouts.

Bournemouth-based telecom consolidator 4Com has acquired Southern Communications (also referred to as Southern Business Communications), a Basingstoke-founded provider of fixed-line, data, mobile and cloud services. The deal represents an add-on consolidation for 4Com as it continues a roll-up strategy in the UK B2B telecoms market; Livingbridge, which backed Southern since 2016, has exited the investment.
