Volaris Group Acquires Metafile Information Systems (MetaViewer)

Volaris Group Inc. has acquired Metafile Information Systems, the Rochester, Minnesota–based maker of MetaViewer, an accounts payable automation and document management solution for Microsoft Dynamics users. Metafile will continue operating under its brand with CEO Nick Sprau remaining in place; Volaris said the acquisition will expand its footprint in AP automation and provide access to capital, talent and operational expertise.

Volaris Group, an operating group of Constellation Software Inc., has acquired MDS Global Ltd., a United Kingdom–based provider of revenue management, business assurance, and analytics software for telecommunications providers. The deal expands Volaris’ Communications & Media vertical, adding billing and managed-services capabilities and supporting MDS Global’s push to grow its cloud-based billing-as-a-service internationally.
