Lumivero, a new data-insights software platform backed by TA Associates, brings together QSR International, Palisade and Addinsoft to create a combined analytics and collaboration offering. As part of the transaction Thompson Street Capital Partners sold Palisade to Lumivero (retaining a minority stake); the combined business will consolidate qualitative and quantitative analytics tools to accelerate product development and global growth.

Lumivero, a Denver-based provider of research and decision software, has acquired SharpCloud, a London-based visualization software company that helps enterprises connect disparate datasets for project portfolio and strategic decision-making. The acquisition (terms undisclosed) will integrate SharpCloud with Lumivero’s Predict! and @RISK products to create a combined project portfolio management and decision-support offering; SharpCloud will continue operating as "SharpCloud, from Lumivero."

GeologicAI Acquires Lumo Analytics

GeologicAI, a Calgary-based provider of high-resolution decision engineering for the critical minerals sector, has acquired Lumo Analytics, a Helsinki-based maker of compact LIBS (Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) scanners. The acquisition extends GeologicAI’s on-site sensor suite to include rapid detection of light elements and rare-earth elements, strengthening its data and analytics offering for mining customers.

Atlas Copco Acquires Qolibri Inc.

Atlas Copco has acquired Qolibri Inc., a Roseville, California–based provider of proprietary semiconductor subfab technologies. The small business (four employees; about USD 70,000 revenue in 2021) will become part of Atlas Copco's Semiconductor division within the Vacuum Technique business area to strengthen vacuum and abatement uptime and sustainability; purchase price was not disclosed.
