SMA Technologies Acquires VisualCron

SMA Technologies, a Houston-based provider of OpCon workload automation and a portfolio company of Thoma Bravo, has acquired VisualCron, a Sweden-based automation, integration and task-scheduling tool for Windows. The acquisition (terms undisclosed) expands SMA’s product portfolio to address smaller organizations, increases its global customer base and advances its automation capabilities following Thoma Bravo’s strategic investment in SMA.
