Alimentiv Health Trust (Alimentiv, Inc.), a specialized gastrointestinal contract research organization (CRO) headquartered in London, Ontario, has acquired McDougall Scientific Ltd., a Toronto-based niche CRO focused on biostatistics, data management, and clinical trial design. The deal brings McDougall's statistical and data-management capabilities into Alimentiv to expand service offerings for pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors while the founder, Janet McDougall, will retire and remain as a consultant during transition.
