Cheeze Kurls LLC dba CK Snacks, a portfolio company of Nexus Capital Management, has acquired Axium Foods, a private-label snack food manufacturer based in South Beloit, Illinois. The add-on acquisition expands CK Snacks' product portfolio and manufacturing capacity—bringing Axium's tortilla, corn chip and extruded snack capabilities into the CK Snacks platform while both companies continue to operate from their existing locations.

Knudsen and TruRoots assets and trademarks plus a licensing agreement for Santa Cruz Organic beverages — to Nexus Capital Management LP for $110 million in cash (subject to working capital adjustments). The transaction includes manufacturing and distribution facilities in Chico, California and Havre de Grace, Maryland, and Nexus plans to operate the acquired brands as an independent consumer platform led by Bobby Chacko as chairman and CEO.
