Climatec, LLC (a Bosch company) has acquired the business of Engineered Control Solutions (ECS), a building automation solutions provider with offices in North and South Carolina. The acquisition (terms undisclosed) strengthens Climatec's Southeast US operations and expands its building automation capabilities across education, government, healthcare, and commercial building markets.

Air Control Concepts (AIR) completed the acquisition of five regional HVAC manufacturer representative firms — Northrich Company, Air Components, Dorse and Company, JJP Mechanical Reps, LLC, and ThermAir Systems — expanding AIR’s geographic footprint, capabilities and manufacturer relationships across the United States. Each acquired firm will continue to operate under its existing brand while joining AIR’s network of commercial HVAC operating companies.

Johnson Controls Acquires Silent-Aire

Johnson Controls has agreed to acquire Silent-Aire, a global provider of hyperscale data center cooling equipment and modular data center solutions, in an all-cash transaction valued at up to $870 million (approximately $630 million upfront plus earnouts). The acquisition, expected to close subject to regulatory approvals, expands Johnson Controls' capabilities and presence in the hyperscale data center vertical and is expected to be immediately accretive to adjusted EPS in fiscal 2022.

Daikin Applied Acquires Dynamic Controls Inc.

Carrier Global Corporation Acquires Toshiba Carrier Corporation Stake from Toshiba

Carrier Global Corporation has completed the acquisition of substantially all of Toshiba Corporation's ownership stake in Toshiba Carrier Corporation (TCC) for approximately $900 million. TCC, a global provider of residential and light commercial HVAC solutions including VRF and heat pump products with roughly $2 billion in 2021 sales and about 6,600 employees, will join Carrier's newly created Global Comfort Solutions business unit headquartered in Tokyo.

H.I.G. Capital Acquires Hart & Cooley, LLC
